From a young age, I have been passionate about storytelling. Over time, I became fascinated with the various mediums through which I could do that and make a real impact with the stories I told. Thus began my love for journalism and creating informative content that makes people think critically about the world around them.
I currently run Meanwhile In, a bi-weekly newsletter that decodes big, global stories that often don't get enough coverage in Western news media. You can subscribe here. I also co-produce and co-host the Pop Rocks and Tea podcast, where I discuss various pop culture topics, including music, movies, TV, and books. You can subscribe here.
Previously, I worked at CNN as a News Associate. I was trained in several production-related roles and worked closely with producers, reporters, and editors.
Having grown up in several places and been exposed to several cultures has taught me to be adaptable, quick thinking, and cognizant of the way the world is connected. I understand how important the news is when it comes to understanding our society and the people around it. I hope that my work will help bridge the gap between big ideas and normal, everyday people.
